In some cases, for the same operation, the client can use an intermediate proxy server. Thus, the client, instead of directly connecting to the web server of interest, connects to an intermediate proxy server, and transmits to it information about which page on which Internet site he would like to request. After receiving a request from the client, the proxy server makes a direct connection to the web server and requests the page required by the client. The web server processes the request and sends a response to the proxy server, and the proxy server sends this response to the client.
Why do experts recommend proxy kaufen, especially SOCKS? SOCKS proxies are always anonymous because they work on a low-level protocol and do not upgrade HTTP headers.
What is the difference between the SOCKS proxy versions?
There are 3 versions of the protocol: SOCKS4, SOCKS4a and SOCKS5. All versions support IPv4, TCP protocol and allow you to use the BIND method, opening the port for incoming connections. SOCKS versions 4a and 5, unlike SOCKS4, allow the client to specify a domain name instead of the target IP address, that is, to perform DNS queries on the SOCKS server side, which is good for clients who do not have such an opportunity on their side, and to provide protection against DNS leaks. The latest version of the SOCKS5 protocol has support for UDP and IPv6, and the number of supported authorization methods has been expanded.
